Primo upgraded the dome thermometers to a new design. The thermometers now have a sturdier threaded stem. XL Thermometer includes an outer bezel ring.
The installation video will walk you through the easy but necessary modifications. You will need a drill and 3/8″ masonry drill bit to widen out the thermometer hole in the dome. You can get the bit at Home Depot (Lowes) => 3/8″ masonry drill bit at Home Depot
